We are a rapidly growing embodied AI company revolutionizing human labor. Leveraging cutting-edge robotics and advanced artificial intelligence, we develop transformative technologies that redefine how work is done across multiple industries—empowering businesses to streamline operations, boost productivity, and unlock new possibilities.

Overview

We're looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to build and scale our infrastructure from the ground up. You'll be responsible for establishing configuration management practices, standardizing our deployment processes, and creating the foundation for managing our growing fleet of systems. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role where you'll architect and implement critical infrastructure that enables the company to scale operations.

Your Responsibilities:

Infrastructure & Automation

  • Design and implement infrastructure-as-code using configuration management tools (Chef, Puppet, Salt, Ansible, or similar)

  • Build automated deployment and provisioning systems for our fleet of distributed systems

  • Build CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation

Platform Standards & Architecture

  • Establish standards for compute platforms, networking configurations, and system protocols

  • Define best practices that will scale as the team and fleet grow

Monitoring, Tooling & Operations

  • Create monitoring and observability solutions for fleet health and performance

  • Develop tooling for remote system management and troubleshooting

  • Document infrastructure architecture, runbooks, and operational procedures

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work across the stack as needed to support the team and respond to evolving priorities

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Infrastructure, or Systems Engineering roles

  • Strong hands-on experience with configuration management tools (Chef, Puppet, Salt, Ansible, etc.)

  • Expert-level Linux system administration skills

  • Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code and version control (Git)

  • Experience designing and implementing deployment automation at scale

  • Strong understanding of networking, security, and system architecture

  • Proven ability to build infrastructure systems from scratch with minimal guidance

  • Excellent documentation and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing distributed systems or edge computing infrastructure

  • Background with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)

  • Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, etc.)

  • Experience with GCP

  • Scripting proficiency in Python, Bash, or similar

  • Previous experience in hardware, robotics, or manufacturing environments

  • Understanding of embedded systems or specialized compute platforms

Soft Skills

  • Self-organization: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities

  • Team player: Collaborative and effective communicator in both in-person and distributed/virtual teams

  • Self-starter: Proactive, resourceful, and able to thrive with minimal supervision in ambiguous situations

  • Problem-solver: Strong analytical mindset, with ability to break down complex problems into actionable steps

  • Adaptability: Comfortable with changing requirements and priorities in a fast-paced startup environment

Our Interview Plan

  • Application

  • Take-home Exercise: A short design task with clear instructions.

  • Cultural Fit Interview (40 min): How you work, what motivates you, and what you're looking for.

  • Technical Fit Interview (45 min): Deep dive into your design process, decision-making, and portfolio.

  • On-site Visit: Meet the team, collaborate on a live problem, and get a feel for our environment.

What We Offer

  • Flexible working hours

  • Option to work from home when needed

  • A motivated team and an open, collaborative culture

  • The chance to design interfaces for cutting-edge robotics—your work will be used, not filed away in some
