Who We Are:
We are a rapidly growing embodied AI company revolutionizing human labor. Leveraging cutting-edge robotics and advanced artificial intelligence, we develop transformative technologies that redefine how work is done across multiple industries—empowering businesses to streamline operations, boost productivity, and unlock new possibilities.
Overview:
We are looking for a hands-on mechanical technician to support the build, installation, and optimization of our robotic systems. You will be responsible for assembling, installing, and aligning mechanical components both in our lab and on customer sites. You will work closely with electrical and software teams to ensure seamless system integration, resolve mechanical issues, and continuously improve new and existing systems in real-world warehouse environments.
Your Responsibilities:
Installation & Integration
Assemble and install mechanical components for robotic workstations and peripheral equipment (frames, conveyors, guarding, mounts, fixtures).
Align, secure, and mechanically commission systems in our robotics lab and at customer locations.
Install and adjust pneumatic and mechanical subsystems (e.g. grippers, cylinders, valves, brackets)
Train and oversee subcontractors during deployments (assisting with technical knowledge and project guidance)
Work closely with our electrical and software engineers to ensure proper mechanical integration of the full system
Implement mechanical improvements and modifications based on feedback from deployments and on-site performance.
Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues (vibrations, misalignment, wear, loose components, etc.) during build, testing, and deployment.
Plan and support deployments, on-site upgrades, retrofits, and preventive maintenance on installed systems.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience
Completed technical training (e.g. State-certified Technician in Mechanical Engineering, or Automation) or a comparable vocational qualification (e.g. Industrial Mechanic, Mechatronics Technician, or similar)
Experience in special machine building, automation, robotics, or industrial installations is a strong plus.
Comfortable working on-site at customer facilities, including warehouses and production environments.
Willingness to travel: ≈ 25-50%
Skills
Strong practical skills in mechanical assembly, installation, and adjustment of machinery and equipment.
Confident in reading and working from mechanical drawings, exploded views, and assembly instructions.
Hands-on mentality, high attention to detail, and a structured, safety-conscious way of working.
Experience with pneumatics (tubing, fittings, cylinders, valves) is a plus.
Valid Class B driver’s license (EU)
