Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Control Specialist to design, implement, test, and optimize key aspects of advanced control systems for our cutting-edge robotic solutions. This role requires deep technical expertise and a proven track record of building and deploying control systems for robotics. As a control specialist, you'll work closely with cross-disciplinary teams to create algorithms and implement real-time control strategies that enhance the performance, precision, and autonomy of our robotics platforms. You'll leverage your expertise in dynamic modeling, feedback control, and system integration to solve complex challenges and push the boundaries of automation and robotics technology

Your Responsibilities:

Development

  • Architect, design, implement, and test time critical software.

  • Develop and implement control algorithms for robotic systems to ensure precision, stability, and responsiveness.

  • Design dynamic models of robotic systems, including kinematics, dynamics, and sensor integration.

Optimization

  • Optimize real-time feedback control systems to improve system performance and efficiency.

  • Develop and optimize control algorithms using Python or C++.

  • Integrate third party libraries into the controls stack.

  • Ownership over production quality software from development through deployment.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience

  • 3+ years of experience in control and real-time algorithms for robotics.

  • Experience designing systems with high security and compliance requirements.

  • Willingness to travel: 50%

Skills

  • Strong experience with containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.

  • Solid understanding of middlewares like ROS 2.

  • Experience with message brokers like RabbitMQ.

  • Advanced coding skills in Python and C++.

  • Knowledge of robotic manipulators, grippers, and camera sensors.
