Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Backend Engineer / Technical Product Lead to join our dynamic team. This hybrid role is designed for a proactive leader with a passion for both technical excellence and strategic product development. You will lead a team of 15+ software engineers, architect scalable backend systems, and drive the complete product development lifecycle in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

Your Responsibilities:

Technical Leadership & Team Management

• Lead and mentor a team of 15+ software engineers, ensuring clear task assignment and high-quality delivery.

• Provide hands-on technical direction to shape project strategy and foster a collaborative, high-performance culture.

System Architecture & Infrastructure

• Architect scalable, distributed backend systems using principles of loose coupling and service-oriented programming.

• Develop cloud-enabled edge device solutions using platforms like GCP and AWS, with a strong focus on automation technology.

Product Development & Lifecycle Management

• Lead API design initiatives and integrate enterprise-level architectural strategies.

• Work closely with product management and other departments to define requirements and oversee end-to-end development.

Innovation & Continuous Improvement

• Leverage expertise in Python, C++, and Node.js to build and optimize backend systems.

• Explore and integrate emerging technologies such as AI, deep learning, robotics, and where applicable, ROS2, PLC communications, and WMS systems.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• Minimum of 5 years in a leadership role, managing teams of 15+ engineers in a dynamic, high-growth environment.

Skills

• Proficiency in backend development with Python, C++, and Node.js.

• Extensive experience with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS) and distributed systems.

• Strong foundation in software architecture, including loose coupling, service-oriented programming, and enterprise architecture.

• Proven track record in automation technology and robust API design.

Soft Skills

• Strategic, proactive, and results-driven mindset.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to guide and inspire technical teams

Additional Skills / Nice to Have

• Familiarity with ROS2, PLC communications, and WMS systems.

• Experience with hosting AI solutions, deep learning frameworks, and robotics applications.

• Expertise in managing the full product development lifecycle.
