Tasks
- Research the current state of the art of vacuum grippers and their controls
- Evaluate potential products and integration solutions
- Design the next generation of multi-suction grippers
- Evaluate concepts
- Set up test facilities
Must-have Skills
- Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, Computer Science, or a related field from the second semester onwards
- Conscientious and independent work style combined with a hands-on mentality to master diverse tasks
- Experience with CAD, ideally SolidWorks
- Skilled craftsmanship
- Technical understanding and interest in robotics topics
- Excellent organizational skills
- Very good communication skills in German or English (ideally in both)
Nice-to-have Skills
- Experience with pneumatics and vacuum technology
- Initial practical experience in robotics and automation
- Class B driving license
- CAM knowledge
- Experience in controlling actuators and sensors with a microcontroller or other embedded systems
