Key Responsibilities:

• Investigate the potential of feature embeddings and transformers for robotic manipulation and scene understanding tasks
• Analyze existing techniques and frameworks for feature extraction and representation in robotic manipulation and scene understanding
• Design and develop a transformer-based model for generating feature embeddings from visual and sensor data in robotics
• Implement the proposed model on a robotic platform and evaluate its performance in real-world scenarios
• Provide recommendations for optimizing and enhancing feature embeddings for improved robotic manipulation and scene understanding

Qualifications:

• Computer Science, Information technology, Robotics and related studies
• Python/C++ programming experience
• Experience with Deep Reinforcement Learning
• Hands-on experience working in a Linux environment
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Experience with PyTorch
• Knowledge of software development and version control using Git or similar
• Programming Record on Github or similiar
• Experience working with ChatGPT
