Define Value Engineering at Workerbase 💡

• As our first Value Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work with our founders in building the Value Engineering department and defining what this function would mean for us.

Have a huge impact on the business of our customers 🚀

• With your unique role, you will have the amazing opportunity to shape where the business of our customers is going. You will be responsible for identifying performance gaps of the current production process landscape and create improvement plans that incorporate all potential value levers of the Workerbase platform.

Drive the growth of some of the largest companies 🌱

• Your work will directly impact the business and growth of our customers. With your help, our customers apply our value generation framework and expand the usage of our software, both advancing the impact of digital technologies on manufacturing operations.

Work closely with our Fortune 500 customers 🙌

• Your main responsibility is to create improvement plans for process inefficiencies in factories. Therefore, you will work closely with the lean production managers of our customers and help them to improve production processes through the use of the Workerbase software. You will interact with customers at both sales and customer success meetings.

Be the main point of contact and key player 🛠️

• Your unique skill set will be the connecting point between multiple departments: our customer success and sales teams, as well as the different customer stakeholders. You speak the language of both lean and digital experts and are able to merge IT and OT requirements into short-term implementation plans as well as long-term roadmaps.

🪄 What we will trust you with is:

You will be the owner of our value creation framework: You create, maintain and optimize our value creation framework that covers all aspects of the value engineering activities, especially

• Understand customer needs and pain points: analyze customer feedback and raw data to identify common patterns and recurring challenges.

• Identify new value propositions: generate value propositions based on customer needs and pain points, working yourself deep into the value creation chain.

• Validate value propositions with customers: conduct value validation interviews with potential customers and run pilot projects for new propositions.

• Assess the economic impact of value propositions: Work closely with customer success managers to horizontally implement the value propositions through the usage of the Workerbase software. Conduct a thorough economic impact analysis to quantify the potential benefits and ROI of each value proposition.

• Develop compelling value messaging: Work closely with Sales Account Executives and craft value messages that clearly communicate the unique value of the product or service to our target customers.

• Identify and profile potential customers: identify potential new customer segments and gather data on the prospects. Work closely with Product Marketing/Demand generation Marketing and aggregate the value messages into compelling stories.
