We’re growing fast, in both headcount and revenue, and we’re looking for an IT Administrator to join our IT team in Athens and provide internal IT support to our daily business.
As an IT Administrator, you will be the personable, human face for Workable users and surprise them with your speed, courtesy and diligence. You will become the person that Workablers rely on to get an important job done well. You will:
- Provide 1st level IT Support to Workable’s (onsite/remote) employees; respond to user questions or issues with friendly and pragmatic advice and assist them when they run into trouble
- Administer and/or assist on configurations/implementations of our IT tech stack
- Perform onboardings/offboardings of employees; address questions of new hires and help them get acquainted with our policies and systems
- Handle compliance/ IT-Sec tasks and initiatives
- Actively deploy and enforce security tools, policies and procedures to protect company information security and comply with privacy regulations
- Monitor IT inventory, procure and manage the IT assets
- Maintain an issues tracking system and report on SLAs for issue resolution
- Create and maintain IT documentation
- Conduct internal trainings on IT-related topics
- Preserve and grow your knowledge of IT support and help desk procedures, products and services
You must have:
- Relevant degree in Computer Science, Engineering (or a proven strong background)
- At least 1-2 year of experience on a similar role
- Excellent communication skills in English, both oral and written
- Passion for cutting-edge cloud technologies and automation. Be tech savvy and able to quickly understand our tools and equipment; this also means being very comfortable understanding the modern tools that your colleagues use
- Strong troubleshooting skills; a positive and problem solving attitude and desire to help our internal users
- Self-motivation, keen on working independently with minimal supervision and having a drive to carve out a career with a fast-growing tech startup
Bonus points for any of the following:
- experience in tech support
- familiarity with the Apple ecosystem (using/supporting macOS),
- experience in cloud systems administration (SaaS/tech industry)
- worked close to security teams
