Sales Manager, Poland

Own your patch. Grow Wikifarmer's presence across Poland — hunting new business, closing deals, and bringing food processors and wholesalers into the digital age.

Created by Petros and Ilias in 2017, Wikifarmer is a global platform with the mission of empowering farmers by educating them and giving them access to the open market to sell their products at fair prices.

In a nutshell

Wikifarmer is expanding into Poland, and we're looking for a commercially driven Sales Manager to grow our customer base in the non-fresh food categories. This is a new business role — you'll be on the ground hunting for clients across the Polish food market, closing deals, and helping food businesses access a smarter, digital way to buy. Depending on the best fit for each customer, you'll either manage accounts directly or transition them to a self-service digital journey through our marketplace. You'll work closely with our supply and marketplace growth teams and be a key part of building something from the ground up in a new market.

What you'll be doing

  • Identify, prospect, and close new accounts across the Polish food market, targeting food processing units and wholesalers

  • Qualify customers and determine the right route forward — direct account management or handover to the marketplace growth team for a digital self-service journey

  • Manage and grow your own pipeline through a mix of outbound outreach, client visits, and trade show attendance

  • Cross-sell across product categories to maximise value for each customer

  • Keep CRM records accurate and up to date to support forecasting and team visibility

  • Coordinate with the supply and marketplace growth teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment and inventory alignment

  • Champion Wikifarmer's digital platform with customers, helping them move from traditional buying habits to our online tools

What you'll bring to the table:

  • Full professional fluency in Polish and English

  • Between 3 and 6 years of experience in a field-based, closing sales role

  • A background selling food products into food processing units (FPUs) or wholesalers

  • An existing customer portfolio in the Polish food market that you're ready to bring to a new opportunity

  • A full, clean driving licence

  • Genuine curiosity about AI and automation, and an openness to using new tools to work smarter

Bonus points for:

  • Experience using HubSpot or a comparable CRM

  • Category knowledge in olive oil, edible oils, or processed fruit and vegetables

  • Additional European languages

  • Hands-on experience using AI tools to improve sales productivity

What we can offer

  • 150,000 PLN - 212,500 PLN (€35,000 - €50,000) annual base salary + Commission

  • Car allowance

  • Comprehensive private medical insurance for you and your dependants

  • Flexible public holidays - use them when it's convenient

  • Unlimited access to Coursera for learning and development

  • A real opportunity to shape a brand-new market for us — with the autonomy, support, and pace that comes with being part of a 44-person agri-tech scale-up

Wikifarmer is dedicated to building a diverse and inclusive workforce. We are actively working to create a workplace where everyone feels they belong and can thrive. We encourage applications from all qualified individuals, regardless of race, religion, colour, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status.
