As our first Digital Sales Manager at Wikifarmer, you’ll be at the forefront of accelerating our growth within the dynamic small and medium enterprise (SME) sector. In this pivotal role, you’ll drive the adoption of our cutting-edge platform, connecting innovative products and services with eager business customers. You’ll champion our marketplace by guiding, onboarding, and empowering new clients—equipping them with the tools and support they need to unlock their full potential on Wikifarmer. Your expertise will help transform new accounts into loyal, independent partners who thrive and grow with us

Day-to-day responsibilities:

  • Drive the entire sales cycle for SME clients through phone, email, and online channels, turning inbound leads into loyal customers with tailored solutions.
  • Proactively identify and engage new prospects, converting outreach into lasting relationships.
  • Showcase and demonstrate Wikifarmer’s platform, guiding new customers through onboarding and their first transactions.
  • Empower clients to use the platform independently for future orders, championing customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Build strong, trust-based partnerships through ongoing communication and support.
  • Relay customer feedback to product and marketing teams, fueling continuous marketplace improvement.
  • Consistently meet or exceed sales targets and maintain accurate CRM records.
  • Collaborate across teams to optimise outreach campaigns and training initiatives.
  • Stay informed on agricultural trends and competitors, articulating Wikifarmer’s unique value.
  • Present pricing insights and upsell opportunities at the right moment.

Experience and Requirements needed to be successful in this role:

  • Business fluency in English and at least one other language (Spanish, Italian, French, or German)
  • Demonstrated success managing the full sales cycle for new business acquisition
  • Strong digital literacy and adeptness with online tools
  • Hands-on experience working with CRM platforms (HubSpot preferred)
  • Prior marketplace or e-commerce experience preferred
  • Knowledge of the food industry, especially in fresh fruit & vegetables or olive oil is a huge advantage
  • Experience working in fast-paced, start-up environments
