Why we need this role

We will only be able to reach our mission of predicting, diagnosing and preventing chronic disease if we get the best digital health customers onboard with Vital’s technology. With more and more data being collected from wearables, lab tests and patient-doctor exchanges, we’re entering an era of healthcare where data is abundant. We need you to get these folks on the Vital train to arrive at our vision of cheaper, personalised and proactive healthcare for all. Our Sales team is the one and only, Eric who you will be reporting into. We need your help to build out what this function looks like at Vital for years to come. Interested? then read on.

What you’ll be doing day to day

  • Building and managing your own pipeline

  • Driving growth tactics to make sure Vital is always top of mind

  • Working with our Growth Marketing and Product folks to align on value proposition

  • Curating and presenting world class product demo’s, making the complex - simple

  • Evolving our contractual agreements to make sure both sides get value

  • Ultimately closing new contracts, making sure their onboarding is seamless

Who you are

  • You care deeply about the impact that Vital can make on the healthcare industry and ultimately millions of patients lives

  • Selling into digital health companies is your thing, you’ve been doing it since you can remember

  • You have experience closing new business with companies that have complex stakeholder structures and large value sizes

  • You are curious, you know what you don’t know and ask the questions to get there

  • Even though you’ve been at the strategy senior leadership level in an organisation, you are excited to get in the trenches again and build Vital from the ground up

  • You will be fulfilled working in a fully remote company but are physically based in the East Coast US state

  • Initial call with Beth - 30 minutes

  • Behavioural interview with Eric - 45 minutes

  • Sales Workshop interview - 60 minutes

  • Operating Principles interview - 60 minutes

Compensation

  • Salary: $105,000 - $136,000 with OTE + early stage equity

  • The salary above is generated by our transparent salary calculator. The calculation is based on San Francisco as a location, 50th percentile, with location factors from Gitlab’s handbook - we’ve spent a lot of time making compensation fair at Vital. More information is here.

  • Regular in person offsites, next one is Morocco

  • Bi-weekly team happy hours & events remotely

  • Monthly learning budget of $300 for personal development/productivity
