Why we need this role
Our sales team is currently Eric, who’s managing all stages of the sales process at Vital. We’re now searching for our first Sales Development Associate to focus on feeding our sales pipeline, working alongside Eric and the rest of the Vital team of 14.
What you’ll be owning All early stages of our sales process so that’s; owning our outreach targets; identifying new business and making sure the business is prioritising efforts in the best way possible. We’re all about quantity over quality at Vital to make sure we’re providing the best solution for our customers and ultimately the patients/users.
What you’ll be doing day to day
Finding and reaching out to potential new customers via emails, Linkedin and other tools
Qualifying these potential customers and providing useful context before setting up calls
Driving outbound efforts to make sure we have a steady flow of leads coming through
Running market research to understand industry news and potential new customers
Managing our customer relationship tool so all information is in one place

Sharing outbound and pipeline progress with the leadership team regularly
What this role isn’t responsible for but can contribute to
Owning initial sales calls, there may be a few to join and support on
Closing, negotiating new customer contracts - this will be Eric’s focus

Compensation
Salary: $64,153 - $72,254 depending on experience
The salary above is generated by our transparent salary calculator. The calculation is based on San Francisco as a location, 50th percentile, with location factors from Gitlab’s handbook - we’ve spent a lot of time making compensation fair at Vital
Regular in person offsites, previously in Lisbon, Kent UK and Tenerife
