The Role
We are looking for a Partnerships-focused GTM Account Executive to accelerate our growth in the European public sector. You will work closely with local integrators/operators/strategic partners to sell to cities, municipalities, and public agencies.
The ideal candidate is a hunter with a proven track record in channel sales, especially in IoT, Smart City, or SaaS-based solutions. You combine business development skills with the ability to build and nurture partnerships, driving pipeline growth and winning public sector business through trusted local integrators.
Key Responsibilities
Partnership Development & Sales Execution
- Identify and grow partnerships with local integrators, operators, and resellers.
- Co-sell with partners to win new city and municipality accounts.
- Drive the end-to-end sales cycle, from prospecting and pipeline creation to negotiation and closing.
Market Expansion & Strategy
- Act as a key player in Upciti’s European market expansion.
- Localize GTM strategies with partners, refine messaging, and influence competitive positioning.
- Build repeatable sales motions with integrators to scale quickly across multiple geographies.
Relationship Management
- Build long-term, trusted relationships with partners and public sector stakeholders.
- Navigate procurement processes (RFPs, RFIs, direct awards) with partners.
- Ensure smooth handover and onboarding by working closely with Customer Success and Technical teams.
Industry Leadership
- Stay on top of Smart City initiatives, funding programs, and public sector innovation trends.
- Represent Upciti and its partners at events, conferences, and industry networks.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 5+ years of experience in B2G SaaS and European public sector sales, with a strong track record in channel and partnership-driven go-to-market models.
- Proven success in hunting new business and scaling partner-led revenue models.
- Deep knowledge of public procurement cycles and government buying processes.
- Tech-savvy and comfortable with AI, IoT, SaaS, and data-driven innovation.
- Exceptional communicator and negotiator, skilled in consultative selling.
- Entrepreneurial and self-starter mindset—thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth scale-up environment.
