We’re seeking a highly skilled & hands-on Full Stack Engineer. This is a unique opportunity to join Tengo in the early team and make a significant impact on both the product and the technical stack. You will work closely with our CTO Yoann.

To date, our technical challenges encompass :

Collecting, structuring & enriching open web data from hundreds of sources

Use LLM & RAG pipelines to analyse tender speciations (aka dozens of long PDF docs per tender) and produce content

Building a SaaS app that enable our customers to find tenders that match their business needs

Creating features to assist those suppliers in responding to the tender

The last 2 points will be your primary area of work ;-)

As Full Stack Engineer, you will:

Implement the Tengo product (backend & frontend) to bring value to users dealing with public tenders daily. Typical features may include:

Build collaboration features like comments system on PDF docs

Implement dashboarding to enhance the overview of tender

Build a drag & drop content editor to assemble a tender response

Collaborate with the tech & product team to ship quality software, fast : write and challenge specs, technical design, peer coding, reviews, …

Participate in the daily life of an early stage startup that is focused on one thing: building an ambitious product

The ideal candidate

You have 4+ years of software engineer experience on coding SaaS apps in teams

You have previously defined technical implementations and challenged software architectural designs

You’re eager to join an early stage project, define on a young product & get your hands dirty implementing it

You’re curious and enjoy exploring new areas (you might even grow to love tenders!).

We are remote-friendly, although this is not a full-time remote position. We think in-person collaboration reinforces team spirit and foster quick iterations, which is essential for an early stage startup. Rule of thumb is at least 2 days / week in the office.
