At Shapr3D, we’re transforming how industries design and innovate. From automotive and aerospace to consumer tech and industrial design, our platform powers some of the boldest ideas across industries that shape 16% of global GDP.

Our multi-platform product has earned an Apple Design Award and is regularly featured in Apple Keynotes. With Series B backing and a rapidly growing user base, we’re scaling fast and this is your chance to shape how our teams work every day.

"At Shapr3D, our goal is to create a workplace experience that is just as seamless, thoughtful, and high-quality as the product we build for our users. The Workplace Team exists to make this happen and workplace tech is one of the most fundamental elements behind it. It has a real, day-to-day impact on how our colleagues collaborate, create, and do their best work." - Adrienn Szőke, Head of Workplace

- Adrienn Szőke, Head of Workplace

Why this role?

Be the operational backbone: - You’ll own the end-to-end workplace tech experience so teams can stay focused and productive: fast onboarding, smooth access, reliable devices, minimal downtime, and a consistent “it just works” experience across a global organization.

Engineer scalable systems, not just support - You’ll build repeatable, documented processes and strong access-control hygiene across our internal services, while keeping networks stable and inventory clean as we grow.

Redefine what good looks like: - You’ll help define the standard: clear scope, dependable delivery, and systems that don’t rely on tribal knowledge or one person saving the day.

What you’ll do

  • Own and continuously improve the end-to-end employee tech experience (onboarding/offboarding, device setup, access requests, troubleshooting): build a measurable, repeatable experience that gets better and better , globally consistent, locally reliable.

  • Keep office and remote connectivity rock-solid—and proactively level it up: Wi-Fi, meeting rooms, printers/peripherals, conference setups. Move from reactive fixes to monitoring, root-cause work, standardisation, and prevention across Budapest + Denver + remote setups.

  • Create, refine, and document IT policies and procedures that scale: clear, usable docs and self-serve workflows that reduce friction (and tickets). Treat documentation as a product—iterate based on feedback, usage, and recurring pain points.

  • Manage the global device and hardware lifecycle with continuous optimization: procurement, imaging/configuration, deployment, repairs, replacements, inventory accuracy, plus practical input into budgeting and planning. Standardize where it helps, stay flexible where teams differ, and continuously improve cost, reliability, and turnaround times.

  • Own the roadmap for Workplace IT improvements globally: prioritize and ship upgrades that scale across offices and remote, using clear metrics (e.g., time-to-onboard, ticket volume, meeting-room reliability, employee satisfaction).

What you’ll bring

This role is a great fit if you’re the kind of person who:

  • Has a real tech curiosity: You enjoy workplace gear like devices, peripherals, AV, and networking, and you like keeping up with what’s new and what’s actually worth using.

  • Is intolerant of instability: When something is flaky, slow, or inconsistent, you don’t normalize it. You investigate, find the root cause, and fix it properly.

  • Has a continuous improvement mindset: You’re always refining processes, setups, documentation, and standards.

  • Brings strong fundamentals across endpoints, identity/access, networking, and troubleshooting

  • Is comfortable supporting both macOS (primary) and Windows environments, including hardware troubleshooting.

  • Brings notable experience supporting a fast-paced environment with senior stakeholders, with good judgment and a service mindset.

  • Can communicate in a clear and calm way in English
