The Role:

ScreenCloud is seeking a Financial Accountant to join our Finance team. This hands-on role is an exciting opportunity for a technical accounting professional to make a significant impact and help shape the future of our organisation during a period of growth. Reporting to the VP of Finance, you will focus on ensuring accurate reporting to our Private Equity owner.

Responsibilities:

You'll be instrumental in our financial operations, with key responsibilities including:

• Compilation of Statutory accounts.

• Managing the annual audit process.

• Handling consolidation and InterCompany accounting.

• Managing UK Corporation Tax and US Income Tax.

• Overseeing UK & US tax obligations.

• Conducting quarterly consumption tax reconciliations.

• Registering the company in future tax jurisdictions as required.

• Addressing EU invoicing and VAT queries.

• Working on R&D Tax credits.

• Dealing with Transfer Pricing.

• Managing company insurance.

• Undertaking various finance admin tasks such as ONS surveys, SOC2 compliance, and W8/W9 forms.

• Engaging in Private Equity stakeholder management.

Requirements:

We're seeking an individual who is meticulous, organised, and detail-oriented. You should possess:

• A qualification as an ACCA or ACA accountant.

• Strong UK & US tax experience.

• Previous audit experience.

• Experience in the compilation of Statutory accounts.

• Strong Excel and systems skills, with NetSuite experience being essential.

• Flexibility and the confidence to take initiative; you'll need to adapt as systems, processes, and roles evolve.

Bonus Skills (if applicable)

• Previous experience working in a SaaS business.
