🔭 What You Will Work On

Your Mission

Help build and expand Root’s teams by sourcing stellar candidates.

Your Focus Will Be On:

  • Developing hands-on experience with Boolean search techniques (e.g., recruiting on social platforms and crafting Boolean search strings)

  • Evolving into a more holistic role, conducting screening calls with candidates, and leading end-to-end recruiting processes

  • Crafting candidate messages and managing communication throughout the recruiting experience

  • Developing talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs

  • Encouraging referrals from current employees and external networks

  • Maintaining candidate databases (e.g., via our Applicant Tracking System)

  • Communicating with past applicants about new opportunities at Root

🧺 What You Bring Along

Based on what you know about the role, you are the best judge of whether you will thrive in it.

Here are some qualities that would help:

  • 6 months to 1 year of Talent Sourcing experience

  • A keen interest in recruitment and a desire to develop in this role

  • Effective time management skills

  • Experience with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) is a plus, but not required

  • Excellent communication skills (both written and spoken English and German)
