We’re building the world’s first seafood trading platform dedicated to connecting seafood processors with wholesalers.
We want to eradicate the fragmented processes and volatility that plague the industry & get seafood flowing more efficiently through the supply chain. As a perishable product, increased speed means longer shelf life and, ultimately, less waste.

👤 The role
We're seeking a proactive and well-equipped Finance Operations Specialist to join our team. Your mission? To play a crucial role in optimising our financial processes and ensuring accurate transactional flows within the organisation. As an operationally oriented Finance Operations Specialist, you'll be the custodian of precise financial data, contributing to the success of our team and overall business.
💪 What will you be doing?
Take charge of managing transactional flows across various aspects of our operations, including our proprietary marketplace software, ERP system, and banking activities.
You'll provide accurate and timely data through the preparation of balance sheet reconciliations.
Meet stakeholder satisfaction goals by overseeing the execution of daily and weekly payment runs for both our French and UK entities.
Demonstrate strong control over credit management activities, ensuring a leak-proof financial environment.
You’ll leverage your experience to proactively be on the lookout for process improvement opportunities.
🛠️ What you need to bring
Finance operations experience on both the sales and purchase ledgers.
Contributed to the elevation and improvement of financial systems and processes.
Clear & confident communication skills and an ability to develop relationships with stakeholders.
Working towards or have obtained professional qualification (AAT, CIMA or ACCA) and can demonstrate the practical application of your knowledge.
Excel / Google Sheets? You're a pro. Your skills with data manipulation and analysis set you apart.
