About the role

Our Audit team is critical to our business. They work closely with Risk and Compliance to create internal risk management and compliance processes, and make sure they’re running efficiently.

We're looking for an Internal Auditor with experience auditing bank or financial services operations, such as technology, payments, and operational resilience. You’ll be executing internal audits and adapting your skills to auditing new subject matter.

What you'll be doing

  • Delivering end-to-end internal audits, from planning and scoping through to execution, reporting, and follow-up
  • Supporting remediation efforts by partnering with stakeholders to track and validate closure of historical audit findings
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, contributing local insights, participating in global audit projects, and aligning on methodologies
  • Conducting ongoing risk assessments using available data to proactively identify emerging risks and business changes
  • Engaging with stakeholders across functions to understand priorities, assess control environments, and drive audit effectiveness
  • Leveraging data analytics to evaluate risks, test controls, and identify process inefficiencies
  • Ensuring audit deliverables are formalised in line with internal methodologies, templates, and regulatory expectations
  • Identifying opportunities to improve processes and strengthen the control framework
  • Ensuring adherence to relevant regulatory requirements, particularly within the financial services landscape in Brazil

What you'll need

  • 3+ years of experience in internal audit or a related role within banking, financial services, or another regulated environment
  • Expertise in delivering end-to-end audits independently, from planning through reporting
  • A solid understanding of regulatory compliance, financial risk, and control frameworks in Brazil
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (SQL, Python, R, or similar) with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • Great stakeholder management skills, with the ability to navigate local and global teams
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills, and to be comfortable operating in ambiguity
  • Clear and effective communication skills

Nice-to-have

  • A bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, IT, or a related field
  • A CIA, CAMS, CISA, or equivalent certification
  • Experience working with global teams
