About the role

Our Technology team builds the systems and experiences that keep Revolut moving forward. From the infrastructure behind our innovative app to the features used by millions of people around the world, they bring sharp thinking, speed, and a focus on meaningful impact to everything they do.

We’re looking for a Head of Technology to lead and scale our local technology function. You’ll be responsible for building and operating secure, resilient, and scalable technology capabilities, while ensuring seamless integration with our global platform and full compliance with all regulatory requirements.

What you'll be doing

• Leading the development and execution of the local technology strategy aligned with business and regulatory requirements
• Integrating systems with local payment rails, financial market infrastructure, and key external partners
• Managing the technology relationship with the Group, overseeing platform services, governance, KPIs, and SLAs
• Implementing operational resilience frameworks, including business continuity, disaster recovery, and resilience testing
• Overseeing engineering, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and technology operations to maintain high system reliability and security
• Establishing technology risk management and internal control frameworks in partnership with risk and compliance teams
• Managing technology incidents, service performance, and operational improvements across local systems and services
• Selecting, onboarding, and managing third-party technology vendors while monitoring regulatory compliance and performance

What you'll need

• 10+ years of experience leading technology functions in financial services or other highly regulated industries
• A track record in IT architecture, engineering, infrastructure, cybersecurity, or technology operations
• A background in technology governance, regulatory oversight, risk management, and operational resilience frameworks
• A solid understanding of the Canadian banking regulatory environment, including OSFI requirements
• A bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a related technical field
• Demonstrated analytical thinking, problem-solving, and structured decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across technical and business teams
