About the role
The Finance team keeps Revolut moving with clarity and confidence. From accounting to strategic support, they work across the business to assess risk, guide decisions, and drive growth. Their insight shapes everything from daily operations to long-term plans and plays a key role in how we scale.
We're looking for a motivated Senior Tax Manager to lead the process of reviewing and approving product launches and expansion for Revolut in the US.
You'll partner with team members across the business to oversee the build and implementation of tax process control tools across relevant product areas.

What you'll be doing
- Establishing and overseeing tax review processes for product launches and corporate tax compliance in the US, ensuring compliance and governance
- Collaborating with product leads to implement operational tax advice while providing accurate guidance to key stakeholders
- Developing and enforcing tax policies, internal controls, and strategic tax planning, maintaining solid relationships with tax authorities and advisory firms
- Representing the company with the IRS and managing tax filings, ensuring accuracy and timely submission
- Overseeing tax compliance, including 1099 preparation, financial statement disclosures, and tax reporting frameworks
- Handling tax controversies, optimizing ETR, and maintaining supporting documentation for DTA/DTL positions
- Leading the local US tax strategy in collaboration with Revolut Group, addressing corporate structure, risks, and intragroup agreements
- Managing and developing the local team in the US, setting goals and ensuring performance
What you'll need
- 6+ years of experience in financial services or banking
- To be a qualified tax professional (CPA)
- Extensive technical knowledge of federal, state, and local (NY) taxes
- Impressive analytical skills
- Solid people-management skills
- Experience within a fast growing organisation
- Great organisation skills to plan projects, work on multiple priorities, and deliver to tight timeframes
Nice to have
- In-house experience in a large recognised accounting or law firm
- Experience in a high-performance organisation, such as fintech or retail banking, in an international setting
Compensation range
- New York: $136,800 - $206,118 gross annually*
- US: $136,800 - $206,118 gross annually*
- Other locations: Compensation will be discussed during the interview process
*Final compensation will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications, skills, and previous experience
