  • Assisting with internal investigations by organising documentation, tracking timelines, and preparing summaries
  • Managing responses to administrative charges and claims (e.g., SMAC, Social Courts, ITSS)
  • Coordinating with outside counsel on employment litigation, discovery, and case management
  • Tracking and helping implement changes in the EU, Spain, and other jurisdiction employment laws, especially those impacting tech companies and remote workforces
  • Maintaining employee-related legal records and ensuring data privacy and confidentiality
  • Supporting compliance initiatives, audits, and training programmes related to employment law and workplace policies
  • Partnering closely with HR, People Operations, and leadership to provide practical, business-focused legal support

What you'll need

  • Knowledge of Spain employment laws (wages, discrimination, leaves of absence, accommodations, terminations, etc.)
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • The ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
  • To be comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment with shifting priorities
  • Great communication skills

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with global employment matters, or remote or international teams
  • Experience in a startup or scaling tech company
  • Experience drafting dismissal letters
