About the role
Our Audit team is crucial to our business. They work closely with Risk and Compliance to assess internal risk management and compliance processes, and to make sure they’re running efficiently.
We’re looking for a highly motivated Internal Auditor with experience auditing Bank / Financial Services operations, such as technology, payments, operational resilience, and third party risk management.
As part of the Australia team, you’ll be providing assurance over governance and control frameworks, as well as playing a key role in assisting the company to achieve its strategic goals and deliver more value to customers.

What you’ll be doing
- Working closely with the Australia Head of Internal Audit and Australia Internal Audit team to develop the risk-based Internal Audit plan for Revolut’s operations in Australia.
- Delivering end-to-end Internal Audits including developing the scope, executing the risk and control assessment, formalising the exceptions and findings into an Internal Audit report and agreeing the management actions.
- Formalising all Internal Audit deliverables in line with Internal Audit methodologies, templates and procedures.
- Engaging with stakeholders across the Australia and broader Revolut entities, to maintain an understanding of business priorities and changes such as product launches, to inform Internal Audit’s risk assessment.
- Validating management’s completion of actions related to prior noted audit findings including against the agreed success criteria.
- Preparing reporting to internal governance forums on the progress and output of Internal Audit deliverables and finding and management action status and validation results.
What you'll need
- 5+ years of experience in an audit related-role, preferably with experience in Banking / Financial Services or a regulated environment.
- Knowledge of Regulatory requirements applicable to Australian Banks, Financial Services Licensees and Credit Licensees.
- Excellent proactive problem solving skills, demonstrating an ability to operate through ambiguity.
- A professional risk mindset, and the ability to apply it to an agile organisation in a dynamic group structure.
- A desire to dive deeper and learn about Revolut’s exciting product suite and value proposition.
- Proficiency working with and interpreting data using e.g. SQL, SAS, Python, or R.
- Impressive critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Impeccable interpersonal and communication skills
Nice to have
- Experience auditing agile organisations
- One or more of: CIA, CA, ACA
- Experience auditing matters of Credit, Finance, Financial Crime.
