About the role

Business Development and Global Business at Revolut are in charge of finding new ways to grow the business. They're involved in every step of the process, from coming up with the idea, to making sure it works for the business. Even though the team members work in different departments, they still work together as a group to support each other and make sure they're all on the same page.

Global Business is the function that finds new markets for products and services that'll help the company grow exponentially. They do this by building important partnerships and business relationships, and negotiating multi-million-dollar deals for the company — so this lovely bunch plays a big part in the company's profits and losses.

This role sits within the Global Business function and inside the Acquiring department of Revolut. The Global Business teams work on special and complex projects, and they seize strategic opportunities across Revolut.

This role requires a sharp mind, a deep-rooted desire to take on strategic deals, and the ability to rapidly absorb and understand every aspect of our services. You'll be supporting our team by building financial models, crafting killer pitch decks, and scoping out new business opportunities.

What you’ll be doing

  • Scoping, researching and conducting due diligence, working cross-department to involve stakeholders from any area of the company relevant to the project
  • Building business cases and modelling to detail the prospective commercial impact
  • Presenting to senior internal stakeholders and prioritising deals based on impact
  • Defining key commercial objectives to attain in the negotiation phase
  • Leading commercial negotiations and reaching the established objectives
  • Supporting the legal team during the entirety of the contract negotiation
  • Working closely with the product and ops teams to ensure flawless project implementation
  • Executing until the project goes live and then owning and optimising performance
  • Building financial models and business cases
  • Building pricing models
  • Drafting pitch decks
  • Scoping new opportunities and carrying out the required due diligence
  • Bringing a new and fresh perspective to the team, contributing to the direction it takes

What you'll need

  • 4+ years of prior experience in a top startup, fast growing tech company, top tier consulting firm or investment bank (client facing)
  • BSc in Management, Economics, Finance or STEM subjects at a top tier university
  • Evidence of excellent financial modelling and analytical skills (ideally SQL knowledge)
  • To be an avid and quick learner; and be hungry, with a deeply rooted desire to make an impact
  • Fluency in English
  • Ambitious and result-driven personality
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Determination and grit in getting things done
  • A proactive attitude team with a love for problem-solving
  • Excellent business acumen
