What you’ll be doing

  • Building the business from ground-up and preparing Revolut for growth in the territory
  • Working with the core payment team in the UK Bank
  • Working with payment systems, platforms, and tools, with some exposure to APIs and integrations
  • Leading and managing multiple projects related to payments, ensuring on-time delivery and alignment with business priorities
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives in the payment operations process by adopting new technologies and methodologies
  • Managing relationships with payment service providers, banks, and other partners to maintain efficient payment channels
  • Collaborating with senior leadership to shape and execute the overall business strategy for core payments
  • Formulating and managing critical partnerships in the UK to launch products in the territory
  • Exploring and defining which projects the team should prioritise, and setting a timeline to reach goals quickly (Strategy)
  • Proactively searching for new features to providing a seamless customer experience (Product improvement)
  • Developing strategic supply chain partnerships and negotiate commercial terms

What you'll need

  • At least a 2:1 degree from a top university
  • 5+ years of work experience in a fast-paced environment
  • In-depth understanding of the payments landscape in the UK, including knowledge of payment systems (BACS, RTGS, Faster Payments), and key industry players
  • Familiarity with UK payment regulations and a good grasp of fintech innovations in the payments space
  • A solid track record of taking ownership and leading complex projects end to end
  • A magic skill to break complex problems into smaller ones and enjoy working with data
  • Natural curiosity and a will to make an impact
  • An interest in the financial industry

Nice to have

  • Ability to think strategically and anticipate future trends in the payments space in the territory for UK
  • Proficiency in project management software, tools like Excel, and relevant analytics platforms
  • Hands-on coding experience with SQL, Python, or R
