About the role

Our Risk team sits at the very core of Revolut. It works across functions, products, and regions to monitor front-line performance and ensure that the business is on safe footing.

People in the Risk team are among the first in the company to get involved in new business initiatives, from app technology, to treasury and finance, to customer support.

We’re looking for an Operational Risk Manager to be a key member of our risk team in Revolut Bank . Working closely with the Head of Operational Risk and key stakeholders from all parts of the company, Risk has an exciting opportunity to see the whole picture and help everywhere 🚀

What you’ll be doing

  • Working with the second line of defence (2LOD) to identify, assess, document, and regularly review risks
  • Providing oversight and guiding 1LOD in the design, implementation, and effectiveness testing of all information technology and security-related controls
  • Managing ongoing development and implementation of frameworks, policies, controls, and training for the management and oversight of IT and Security risk
  • Aligning IT and Security risk management activities with industry best practices and standards
  • Monitoring IT and security risks against limits and thresholds, producing reports to management and other relevant stakeholders
  • Registering risk events, investigating and performing root-cause analysis, and managing and delivering risk incident reports to senior management
  • Overseeing and managing the operational performance of third party vendors and suppliers within the technology and security area
  • Facilitating appropriate IT risk and security-related awareness and risk culture amongst employees

What you'll need

  • 3+ years of experience in IT risk, security risk, IT audit, etc. within financial services
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Impeccable organisational and communication skills
  • Solid interpersonal communication skill
  • Great attention to detail
  • The ability to work independently, manage concurrent deadlines and multiple priorities

Nice to have

  • The ability to work with data, proficiency with SQL
  • A CISA, CRISC, CISM, or related certification
  • A degree in computer science or information technology/security
  • Knowledge of Information Technology and Security risk frameworks, such as NIST, ISO 27001, COBIT, etc.
  • Knowledge of IT Technology and Security risk-based best practices

Compensation range

  • Lithuania: €4,800 - €5,000 gross monthly*
  • Other locations: Compensation will be discussed during the interview process

*Final compensation will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications, skills, and previous experience
