Job mission

We are seeking an engineer with a passion for tackling diverse and complex challenges. In this role, you'll be part of a small multidisciplinary team focused on developing innovative software solutions, contributing to projects from their MVP stage all the way to full-scale production, in an industry integrating emerging privacy-preserving technologies like Google's Privacy Sandbox.

About The Team

We are a self-sufficient, multidisciplinary team of six individuals, encompassing roles in data science, product management, and software engineering. Our primary challenge is to build a new product in a greenfield-like environment in an iterative fashion starting with an MVP. We will leverage and extend our existing infrastructure and services at Remerge to accomplish this. We are a flexible and self-organized team with a R&D and product focus that offers great technical challenges in a new emerging space within ad-tech, a privacy preserving retargeting and auction API developed by Google - Privacy Sandbox.

Job responsibilities

• Versatile Development: Lead and contribute to the development of a groundbreaking campaign management, auction, and bidding concepts, utilizing a range of technologies such as Golang, JavaScript, Python, Kafka, and Android SDK. Emphasize adaptability and willingness to work across different software domains.
• Collaborative Engineering: Work alongside ML specialists and data scientists, contributing to projects involving data aggregation and machine learning. Your role is to ensure seamless integration and implementation of these technologies into our broader software systems.
• Innovative Problem-Solving: Engage in creative problem-solving within the ad tech domain, addressing the unique challenges posed by high traffic volumes and the need for sophisticated, privacy-compliant solutions.
• Quality and Scalability: Focus on writing high-quality, scalable code that enhances our product's robustness and facilitates ease of extension and maintenance.
• Continuous Learning and Adaptation: Stay on top of emerging technologies and trends in ad tech, particularly in areas impacting privacy and data security. Demonstrate an eagerness to learn and adapt these new technologies into our existing framework.
  
  

Job requirements

• Proven Experience: Strong background in software engineering, with a portfolio that demonstrates versatility across multiple domains and technologies.
• Technical Adaptability: Ability to learn and apply new programming languages/concepts and tools quickly and effectively. Experience with Android SDK, Kafka, Druid, and similar technologies is a plus.
• Strategic Thinker: Skilled in balancing innovative approaches with practical, deadline-oriented delivery. Able to navigate the complexities of a rapidly evolving tech landscape.
• Collaborative Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment, and contribute to cross-functional projects.
