Our dynamic brand team spearheaded our rebrand, fuelling Preply's evolution into a top design-centric product company. Now with robust financial backing, we're set to elevate Preply's brand to become a market leader within EdTech.

As the Head of Brand, you will:

  • Deliver both strategic direction and executional excellence in defining and executing Preply's tone of voice and consistency across B2C touch points
  • Explore, plan and execute different story telling ideas and formats - from CTAs, homepage headers to how a bot can sound like Preply
  • Become the brand ambassador in the company of our guidelines and what the brand stands for from slack channels, engaging ways to live the brand’s tone of voice in the company
  • Raise the bar in terms of how we sound and adjust to channels, product and personas through our messaging
  • Think global and take a localized approach to storytelling inspiring the teams to think of the customer and tone of voice when creating content
  • Work with all teams to build, plan and execute a unified messaging strategy
  • Drive creative sessions with teams to deepen understanding of personas and constantly advocate for our users
  • Work closely with brand designers, content team and marketing teams to create new ideas and campaigns

What we're looking for:

  • Strong experience driving messaging and consistency across the organization while adjusting to the different tone across channels (marketing ) and teams (customer service to product)
  • Outstanding Storytelling skills
  • Digital / Tech company experience
  • Have a brand mindset that drives real business impact - able to refer to metrics for success
  • Empathy towards our language learner and ability to connect them our product
  • Willing to tackle any problem that is thrown at you with an open mind
  • Understanding of customer and a strategic bent of mind transferable in fast execution with KPIs and iterations where needed
  • Always thinking proactively about how to improve status-quo
  • Ability to decide and prioritise projects and tasks based on impact
  • Excellent written, verbal and communication skills and proficiency in English
