As a product-led organisation, product is a central function of Polar Analytics. Currently managed by the founders, this is an opportunity to come in and establish the foundations.

What’s the scope?

  • Identify & prioritise initiatives that will drive important business metrics and contribute to the product strategy.

    • Example 1: to improve New ARR, we want to optimise our acquisition funnel. We need you to tell us on which part of the funnel we should focus, why and which hypothesis can we test?

    • Example 2: identify step change projects that can help improve NRR, and inspire the team to execute on a first quick iteration

  • Deliver high quality features at velocity

    • We think in hours/days, not in weeks/months. What is a quick iteration that we can do to test the hypothesis that you have?

  • Conduct User Research to unearth new priorities for future Polar Products / Features

  • Help refine Product Management Processes and Principles at Polar

The job is made for you if...

  • You have delivered end to end features (0-1) that have significant impact for users.

  • You have previously owned a Product Roadmap that contributes to significant business Metrics.

  • You are driven by impact, tsoo

  • You are deeply interested in the customer and willing to go the extra mile to deliver a 5-star experience.

  • You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions. Bonus if you can pull your own data using SQL.

  • You are an excellent communicator and are able to deal with cross-functional stakeholders. Designers and Engineers usually love you :)

  • Bonus: you have delivered products for B2B SaaS, and understand the nuances of delivering to SMB customers.

  • Bonus: you have worked on data products before and/or have a good knowledge of eCommerce

Our Hiring Process 📝


We follow a structured hiring process to ensure fairness and transparency. Our process may vary depending on the role, but this is what you can expect after you apply:

1. Recruiter Screen (30 mins): A call with our Head of Talent to talk through your current/past experience, your motivations and Tell you more about Polar Analytics.

2. Technical Fit (45 mins): Here, you'll meet either the Hiring Manager or a team member of a similar level to discuss your ways of working and understand your skillset and ability for the role.

3. Technical Deep Dive (1 hour): This interview usually consists of a practical element (case study, Presentation, Technical Problem Solving etc) designed to give you a broader understanding of how we drive impact at Polar. This will be with the hiring manager and one other team member.

4. Culture Interview (45 mins): A conversation with one of our Culture Champions. We assess your team fit based on our values (see below).
