Why is this a great opportunity?

You will be the first growth hire. This is a unique moment to create and operate this business unit from scratch.
And this doesn't come at the expense of traction and scale:
The Polar App has been live for less than 1 year and is installed already on 800+ Shopify stores, with strong conversion rates: 40% Free Trial to Paid Customer and 20% Lead to Paid Customer overall. It solves a real need, 10x better than traditional BI solutions because of its vertical focus.
We just closed a new round of funding with the best European SaaS investors, and you will own a $1M marketing budget for the next 12 months.

What’s the scope?

Note: this is the scope of the Growth team, not necessarily an individual scope. As Head of Growth, your mission will be to own these topics and drive impact. Notably by building a team or hiring contractors to help you.
Build a scalable lead generation machine
Example of Initiatives:
Scale Paid Acquisition budget from $50K to $150k per month, while maintaining a payback below 6 months.
Launch Multi-channel Outbound as a new acquisition channel
Own Growth Analytics
Example of Initiatives:
Build a holistic revenue dashboard to monitor and improve performances (New ARR by merchant size, CAC and Payback by Channel, Sales Velocity, Activation Rate, etc.)
Choose and Enrich our Growth Stack (Hightouch, Segment, Snowflake, Hubspot, etc.)
Optional: Drive Product-led Growth
Example of initiatives:
Lead engineering and design team to ship features with revenue growth outcomes: Activation flows, Engagement loops, Embedded virality, and more.

An owner: You deserve and thrive on freedom and responsibilities. You act as an entrepreneur and feel excited about being the CEO of your business unit with its own P&L.
A Doer: Yes you can drive vision and strategy, but know how to get sh*t done. You have great judgment, efficient execution, and love getting your hands dirty. You lead your team by example.
Technical Growth: You are extremely data-driven. Whether it’s SQL, Spreadsheets, BI tools you know how to analyze data to get the insights you need to make the right decisions. You are not afraid of API, Javascript, and writing scripts to automate and scale processes.
Creativity: You are creative. Yes, you know how to use data, but you also have great ideas. You cultivate this creativity by following blogs, and growth case studies. You can come up with innovative ideas for Ads, Products, or Lead generation.
T-Shaped: The scope of Growth is huge: Ads, to Content, Partnerships, Outbound, SEO, PLG, you name it. We know you can’t be an expert in everything so it’s important to be T-shaped. (i.e. You have one area of expertise and a general knowledge/ability to delegate on the others)
Not your first rodeo: You have previous successful growth B2B SaaS experiences, learned a ton, and feel ready now to make your big hit!
