About the role:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Junior Bookkeeper to join our finance team. In this role, you will support the day-to-day financial operations of the company by maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and ensuring data integrity across our accounting systems. This is a great opportunity for an early-career accounting professional with at least one year of bookkeeping experience, strong Excel skills, and a passion for precision to grow within a collaborative and supportive environment.

Typical responsibilities include:

• Assist in maintaining and updating the company's financial records, including ledgers, journals, and databases
• Assist in recording financial transactions, such as income, expenses, assets, and liabilities
• Accurately enter and code financial data, such as invoices, receipts, and expense reports, into the accounting system, daily transactions reconciliation
• Reconcile bank statements with the company's financial records to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies
• Participate in month-end and year-end closing processes, including accruals and account reconciliations
• Maintaining the Legal Database
  

We’re looking for someone with the following skills and qualities:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or other related fields
• 1+ years of proven experience as a bookkeeper
• Advanced knowledge of the English language
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office, with a strong focus on Excel
• Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in work
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
