About the Content Marketing Role
PlayPlay is looking for a Content Marketing Manager to join our growing Marketing team in North America. Someone passionate about creating content that educates, celebrates, and inspires our prospects and customers in their search for a solution to better reach their audiences.
As a Content Marketing Manager, you will help implement our global content strategy and lead projects to ensure strong discoverability and recognition as experts in the video market. Although you’ll have some guidelines from Paris HQ, you must build our voice in the US, with American-tailored content & comms actions. You will report directly to our Head of Marketing in the US and collaborate strongly with our Marketing teams in France and Germany.

  • Craft a content plan and design an editorial calendar specifically for the North American market that aligns with our Global content strategy
  • Monitor content, communication, and marketing trends to ensure our content consistently meets market expectations.
  • Oversee webinars, including content creation, hosting, animation, and promotional activities.
  • Create both gated and ungated materials such as guides, ebooks, and reports.
  • Create content for our events and conferences, and take on speaking roles as needed
  • Create videos (with PlayPlay!) to support our marketing activities (e.g., events, webinars, emails, newsletter)
  • Develop social media content, including product communications and educational materials (e.g., short talking-head interviews), and advocacy posts.
  • Enhance our blog by publishing SEO-optimized posts that combine original content with contributions from freelance writers
  • Manage the creation and promotion of our newsletter.
  • Identify and collaborate with strategic partners for co-marketing initiatives, and manage ongoing content partnerships
  • Ensure our marketing resources are consistently updated and collaborate with teams to keep them informed when relevant content is available.


  • Strong copywriting and verbal communication skills
  • Strong understanding of social media ecosystem and trends
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to drive projects from origination to completion
  • Experience in creating all kinds of content: videos, infographics, ebooks, articles…
  • Experience with planning, hosting and animating webinars
  • Experience with presenting in front of audiences (for instance at an event or conference)
  • Good understanding of the demand funnel to tailor/repurpose content to different target audiences
  • Experience with a blog CMS (eg. WordPress) or a marketing automation tool (ideally Hubspot) is a plus
  • Basic knowledge of on-page SEO


  • Content Enthusiast: You're passionate about all content formats, with a particular interest in video. You're a content-hungry learner, staying on top of trends in content creation, communication strategies, and marketing best practices. You actively engage with content communities, follow industry influencers, and are an early adopter of AI tools for content development.
  • Storytelling Master: A natural storyteller with a knack for writing, you can transform basic copy into engaging content. You enjoy educating others and have a natural comfort level speaking in front of an audience.
  • 3 to 5 years of professional experience in a Marketing/Content role.
  • Prior experience in a similar role within the startup world and/or working with global teams is a plus.
  • Native English speaker based in NYC
