Strategic Account Manager
Sales & Business Development · Full-time
London, UK
Our Mission:
Omnea is the agentic operating system for procurement.
Procurement touches every pound a business spends, yet requests still stall for weeks and approvals get lost in inboxes. Our AI-first platform changes that: our agents capture requests, route approvals, onboard suppliers, flag risk and track every renewal, while anyone in the business can ask a question and get an answer grounded in their own company’s data. Buying becomes painless for everyone, procurement gets a seat at the table, and our customers have saved more than 100,000 hours of manual work so far.
Companies like Spotify, PayPal, T. Rowe Price, JustEat, Adyen and S&P Global run procurement on Omnea. We’re backed by $75M from Khosla Ventures, Insight Partners and Accel, and we’ve been named the UK’s number one startup in the Startups 100, ranked 11th on Sifted’s 2026 list of Europe’s fastest-growing companies, and recognised as one of Fast Company’s Most Innovative Companies.
Talent density matters more to us than almost anything else. We keep the bar high in every team, so everyone here has real ownership and real impact. Our team is full of former founders and operators who’ve scaled unicorns, and we’re looking for people who want to do the best work of their careers alongside them.

The Role
As Omnea's Strategic Account Manager, you won't own a fixed book of accounts. Instead, you'll work across a large, shared pool of customers, 50+ at a time, and your job is to make every single one of them successful.
Unlike a traditional account role built around a handful of strategic relationships, you'll operate at scale: building Omnea's presence and community across your customer base through events, webinars, roundtables, and digital engagement, turning individual customers into a connected, invested group of Omnea advocates.
You'll still carry a commercial edge, owning retention and a smaller share of expansion across your pool, but the bulk of the role is about driving real value realisation and adoption at volume rather than running a small number of deep, high-touch relationships.
You're someone who thrives in a fast-moving environment, is energised by variety, and knows how to prioritise ruthlessly. You're as comfortable hosting a roundtable for 30 procurement leaders as you are running a tight renewal call with a CFO.
What You'll Do
Own a large, shared pool of accounts: Manage 50+ accounts at a time across SMB and mid-market, not a fixed book, building relationships from end users (Procurement, Finance, Ops) through to senior stakeholders (CFOs, COOs), and stepping in early wherever you spot a health risk.
Drive value realisation, with a lighter expansion motion: Own Net Revenue Retention across your pool. Lead renewal conversations, secure multi-year extensions, and pass qualified upsell signal to Sales rather than running full commercial cycles yourself.
Build community and drive engagement at scale: Design and run customer events, webinars, roundtables, and digital programmes that keep your accounts engaged, informed, and connected to each other. Co-host with Marketing and Sales, and turn your best customers into reference champions.
Be the voice of the customer internally: Translate patterns across your accounts into product feedback for the roadmap, and into scalable plays and campaigns for Marketing and Sales. Help define the playbooks, tools, and processes for managing accounts at this scale: you're building this function as much as running it.
What's Different About This Role
This isn't a book-of-business role. You work across a large, shared pool of accounts rather than owning a fixed set, so leverage through events, content, and digital touchpoints matters as much as one-to-one relationship-building.
The quota skews toward retention and value realisation, not expansion. Roughly 70% of what you own is keeping accounts healthy and renewed; the other 30% is expansion you spot and hand off or close.
Community is core to the role, not a nice-to-have. You're expected to build and run the events, webinars, and content that turn a shared pool of customers into a connected group of Omnea advocates.
There's no fixed playbook for managing accounts at this scale yet. You'll help define it as you go.
About You
TL;DR: you're commercially sharp, energised by building community, and have the operational discipline to manage a high-volume, shared pool of accounts without letting anything slip. You know how to create leverage through events, content, and digital touchpoints, and you balance that with the relationship skills to make customers feel genuinely looked after.
2-7 years of experience in a B2B SaaS commercial or customer-facing role. You might come from account management, customer success, marketing, or events - what matters is a genuine commercial edge and a track record of excellence in whatever you've done
You're a natural community builder: you know how to design and run programmes that bring customers together, and you understand how those moments translate into retention, expansion, and advocacy
You have strong commercial intuition: you can spot an expansion opportunity in a conversation, navigate a renewal proactively, and hold your own in commercial discussions with senior stakeholders
You're a brilliant communicator in every format: warm, clear, and credible whether you're hosting a webinar for 50 people or writing a customer newsletter
You're operationally excellent. Managing 50+ accounts at a time means ruthless prioritisation, tight organisation, and building systems and processes that create leverage
You're outcomes-focused with a heavy bias to action, entrepreneurial, and want to help build a business. The scope of this role will be defined by the person who takes it on
