The Opportunity
It’s an exciting time to lead Sales Development at NexHealth. Our SaaS platform solves a massive pain point for medical and dental practices, and demand is growing fast — 50% of doctors who see a demo sign a contract within weeks.
As our SDR Leader, you’ll be responsible for building, coaching, and scaling a high-performing team of Sales Development Representatives focused on generating high-quality pipeline for our Account Executive organization. You’ll own pipeline coverage goals, improve productivity through process and technology, and be instrumental in shaping the next generation of sales talent at NexHealth.
You’ll report directly to Sales leadership and partner cross-functionally with Marketing, RevOps, and Enablement to continually refine our GTM strategy.
What You’ll Do
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of inbound and outbound SDRs to consistently exceed pipeline generation goals
- Build a culture of accountability, curiosity, and speed-to-lead that embodies NexHealth’s values
- Partner with Marketing and Operations to optimize lead routing, SLAs, and reporting
- Identify and execute improvements in our sales process, playbooks, and tech stack to maximize efficiency
- Monitor team performance using Salesforce dashboards and key conversion metrics
- Hire and onboard new SDRs to scale the team effectively as we grow
- Collaborate closely with Sales Leadership to align messaging, territory planning, and hand-off processes to AEs
- Lead weekly team meetings and 1:1s to coach on objection handling, call strategy, and outbound execution
What You’ll Bring
- 5+ years of sales experience, including at least 2 years in an outbound top-of-funnel role and/or managing, mentoring, or coaching SDR/BDR teams
- 2+ years selling into SMB markets, ideally within dentistry or other competitive industries
- Proven track record of consistently exceeding pipeline and meeting targets — as a team leader or as a top-performing individual contributor ready to step into leadership
- Strong leadership, mentorship, and coaching skills with the ability to inspire, motivate, and hold SDRs accountable
- Proven success in building and scaling high-performing SDR teams that hit or exceed quota
- Expertise with Salesforce, Outreach, and modern GTM tech stacks
- Strong analytical mindset — able to use data to identify trends, improve process, and drive decisions
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with a passion for developing people
- Deep understanding of the SDR → AE pipeline motion and how to optimize it for conversion and efficiency
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
