About NexHealth

NexHealth’s mission is to accelerate innovation in healthcare. Fixing healthcare is the challenge of our generation. This industry is stuck in the 1990s while affordability and accessibility are spiraling out of control. We currently spend ~20% of GDP on healthcare, while 25% of the world's data is stuck on legacy and antiquated health systems. NexHealth’s goal is to create an open and modern ecosystem to accelerate innovation in the space. We make it easier for everybody to build in healthcare and ultimately empower ordinary people with access to more modern, efficient, and affordable healthcare solutions.

About the Role
We’re looking for a Talent Operations Manager to design, implement, and scale the systems, tools, and processes that fuel our hiring engine. This is a foundational role, reporting directly to our COO, where you will build the talent operations function from the ground up, with the potential to build and manage a team as we grow. You'll work hand-in-hand with our executive team, People Operations, Finance, and IT to architect our recruiting, workforce planning, and compensation operations.

This is a unique opportunity to sit at the intersection of recruiting operations, candidate experience, and employer brand. This is a role for a strategic operator who can both architect processes and own the hands-on work of bringing them to life.

What You’ll Do

  • Architect and optimize the talent engine: Own and evolve all recruiting operations to create a seamless experience for both candidates and hiring managers — from optimizing Greenhouse workflows and reporting, to improving automation across our tech stack (e.g., Rippling, Greenhouse, LinkedIn).
  • Drive data-informed decisions: Develop robust metrics and dashboards to measure recruiting performance and hiring effectiveness, providing leadership with data-driven insights to inform and advise on recruiting strategy.
  • Serve as a Strategic Partner: Act as the primary point of contact for all recruiting-related activities, managing strategic projects and communications to enhance hiring efficiency, compliance, and quality across the team.
  • Lead strategic workforce planning: Build frameworks for headcount forecasting and budget alignment in partnership with People Operations and Finance, ensuring our recruiting team can meet future talent needs.
  • Ensure operational integrity & compliance: Partner with People Operations and IT to ensure compliance with applicable employment regulations and maintain best practices across hiring and onboarding processes.
  • Manage our talent ecosystem: Identify, implement, and administer all talent tools and vendors, owning relationships and evaluating new solutions as our needs and the HRtech landscape evolve.

What You’ll Bring

  • 7+ years of experience in Talent Operations, Recruiting Operations, or a related People Operations function.
  • Proven track record of building and scaling systems, processes, and programs that enable company growth.
  • Proven track record of coaching and leading teams.
  • Hands-on expertise with recruiting and people tools, ideally including Greenhouse, Rippling, and LinkedIn Recruiter.
  • Experience with vendor management, compliance, and process automation.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience developing data-driven insights, dashboards, and workforce planning models.
  • Familiarity with compensation and offer operations, including approval workflows and equity components.
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with People Ops, Finance, and IT.
  • Project management skills and comfort managing multiple high-priority initiatives at once.
  • Growth mindset with the ability to move between strategic planning and tactical execution.
  • (Nice to have) Experience with AI tools, data visualization, or operational transformation projects that drove measurable efficiency gains.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.

Location

This role is based in San Francisco with hybrid flexibility. We are open to considering strong remote candidates based in the U.S.

Compensation & Benefits

Base Salary Range: $125,000 – $150,000 USD per year (based on experience and location)
Equity: Competitive stock options
Benefits include:

  • Full Medical, Dental, and Vision
  • 401K and commuter benefits
