As the founding member of the Accounting team, this role will be responsible for establishing or improving upon exiting accounting systems and processes. This includes starting implementation of an ERP system, PO process and update to existing revenue recognition process.

What You’ll Do:

• Own monthly, quarterly and annual financial close. Work closely with FP&A Lead to deliver reporting of historical financial data.
• Provide financial reporting to external and internal uses that is easy to digest and highlights areas of concern and where improvements are required.
• Implement and maintain accounting systems that support revenue recognition, quote-to-cash, KPI reporting, AP and AR workflows.
• Ability to build and manage a team of high-performing accountants. Coach junior staff and be their resource on complex accounting topics.
• Manage billing operations, tax compliance, external due diligence requests, AR and AP functions.
• Drive process improvements and internal controls to support the company’s growth at scale

What You’ll Bring:

• BA or BS in accounting or related fields.
• 10+ years of professional experience with at least 2 years of controller experience.
• CPA certification.
• Public accounting experience - Big 4 preferred.
• Experience working implementing accounting systems such as NetSuite.
• Experience in hiring and mentoring junior staff.
• Experience with SaaS companies, metrics, and business drivers.
• Preparation for due diligence request.
• Experience with billing systems such as Zuora, Chargebee or similar.
