What you’ll do
As an Integration Consultant, you will be the technical face of Mambu for our most ambitious projects in Latin America. You won’t just connect systems; you will lead the digital transformation of financial institutions, ensuring that our cloud-native core integrates perfectly with the complex ecosystems of modern banking and payments.
Technical Blueprinting: Prepare high-level requirements, designs, and flow diagrams for custom logic and third-party applications, maximizing the potential of Mambu’s APIs and Webhooks.
Strategic Consulting: Act as a trusted advisor for developers during their build phase, providing expert guidance on best practices, security, and high-scale architecture.
Bridging the Gap: Coordinate directly with the global product team to communicate regional needs and trigger platform enhancements required for local success.
Execution Excellence: Oversee functional testing, define complex scenarios, and support partners/clients to ensure every integration is robust and project timelines are met.
What you’ll bring
We are looking for a consultant who combines deep technical "know-how" with the ability to navigate the specific challenges of the Latin American financial landscape.
Core Requirements
4-5 years of experience as a Developer, Technical Consultant, or Architect.
LATAM Financial Expertise: Proven experience in the Latin American banking industry, with deep knowledge of payment processing, core banking, or fintech ecosystems.
Cloud-Native Mastery: Strong experience with cloud-native integration architecture across AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Advanced System Design: Expert skills in scalability, distributed transactions, consistency models, and latency-aware patterns.
Modern Integration Stack: Deep understanding of REST APIs, event-driven systems, webhooks, messaging queues, microservices, and serverless patterns.
Cloud Networking & Security: Solid grounding in VPC and hybrid networking, private connectivity, secure routing, and cloud networking fundamentals.
Resiliency First: Proven ability to design fault-tolerant integration flows capable of withstanding partial failures and degraded dependencies.
Certified Professional: At least one cloud architect–level certification (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Language Mastery: Exceptional communication skills in English and Portuguese (Required). Proficiency in Spanish is highly desirable.
Bonus Points:
Experience with ERP/Accounting systems (understanding the logic of debits/credits).
Cloud certifications (AWS preferred).
Experience working across multiple geographic and cultural boundaries in LATAM.
