About the Team
The Disaster Recovery Service team ensures that Mambu’s business-critical platforms and systems can be reliably restored in the event of both planned and unplanned disasters. The team designs, develops, and maintains automated, extensible, and reliable multi-cloud and cross-region disaster recovery solutions and procedures. As a team of highly skilled engineers, we focus on solving complex problems through automation and continuous improvement.
What you’ll do
- Design, develop, and maintain Mambu’s Disaster Recovery (DR) framework, including technical architecture and operational processes.
- Collaborate with Platform and Capability teams to design and evolve multi-cloud DR solutions.
- Act as the technical DR SME, owning global DR standards, principles, and documentation, and ensuring consistent adoption.
- Plan, execute, and report on regular DR exercises to validate failover capabilities and SLA commitments.
- Provide technical DR support and consultation to internal teams and customers, including participation in customer DR planning and exercises when required.
- Own end-to-end delivery of DR-related service requests, ensuring timely execution, clear communication, and SLA adherence.
- Identify DR-related platform or product gaps and drive improvements in collaboration with relevant teams.
- Promote DR best practices across Mambu and stay current with industry trends and technologies.
What you’ll bring
- Strong knowledge of main public cloud providers
- Strong understanding of cloud native applications and distributed systems
- Experience in automating infrastructure changes using Terraform and building pipelines. Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and GitOps operating model is second nature for you.
- Experience in managing application on Kubernetes
- Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g. python)
- Strong communication, organizational and problem-solving skills

- The base salary for this position is €7200 gross (before taxes) monthly.
