About incident.io

incident.io is the leading AI incident response platform, built to help teams dramatically reduce incident response time and improve reliability. We bring together on-call, incident response, AI SRE, and status pages in a single platform, giving teams everything they need to respond quickly, reduce downtime, and keep customers in the loop.

Since launching in 2021, we’ve helped over 1,500 companies, including Netflix, Airbnb, and Block, run more than 500,000 incidents. Every month, tens of thousands of responders across Engineering, Product, and Support use incident.io to restore services faster, stay aligned under pressure, and focus on building what matters.

We’re a fast-growing, highly ambitious team that cares deeply about our customers, product quality, and making it magic. We’ve raised $100M from Index Ventures, Insight Partners, and Point Nine, alongside founders and executives from world-class technology companies.

The role in one line

Own and elevate the day-to-day experience of our London office, making it a place people genuinely love being in.

What this actually is

This is a hands-on workplace operations role for someone who gets energy from creating a brilliant in-person experience.

You’ll take ownership of the day-to-day running of our London office — everything from deliveries and restocking through to lunches, desk setups, vendor coordination, and making sure the office feels welcoming, functional, and high quality every single day.

This isn’t a passive office management role where you wait for tasks to appear. We’re looking for someone proactive, energetic, and highly organised who notices problems before other people do and takes pride in keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes.

A big part of this role is rooted curating a workspace that's excellent for focused work, excellent for collaboration, and a genuinely enjoyable place to be; this person is the custodian of that standard. That means balancing hospitality, operations, organisation, and people skills while working closely with a fast-moving and opinionated team.

You’ll have a huge amount of ownership over the office experience and the opportunity to shape how our workplace evolves as we grow.

What brilliant looks like

  • You take pride in creating environments that feel thoughtful, welcoming, and well-run

  • You notice things before other people do and proactively fix problems without being asked

  • You’re highly organised and reliable, even when juggling lots of moving parts at once

  • You’re confident communicating with different personalities and can hold boundaries when needed

  • You stay calm under pressure and keep things moving when the office gets busy or chaotic

  • You genuinely enjoy helping people and creating a great experience for others

  • You’re practical, resourceful, and willing to jump into whatever needs doing; your first instinct when presented with an atypical request is to figure out how to make it happen

What the job actually involves

You'll be based in our London office five days per week. Here's the kind of thing you'll be doing day to day:

  • Owning the day-to-day operations of our ~20,000 sq ft London office

  • Managing deliveries, supplies, restocking, and vendor relationships

  • Coordinating team lunches, snacks, drinks, and shared office spaces

  • Setting up desks and supporting onboarding for new joiners

  • Helping maintain a clean, organised, and high-quality office environment

  • Managing office access, badges, and workplace administration

  • Supporting health & safety processes and workplace compliance tasks

  • Troubleshooting operational issues quickly and keeping the office running smoothly

  • Helping create a workplace experience that encourages collaboration and in-person connection

The profile we're looking for

We think this role will suit someone who enjoys being around people, likes staying busy, and takes real ownership over their environment.

You probably:

  • Have experience in hospitality, customer service, workplace, events, or operational environments

  • Are proactive, energetic, and comfortable working in a physically hands-on role

  • Enjoy being in the office and working closely with people day to day

  • Are confident dealing with different personalities and know how to push back when needed

  • Take initiative rather than waiting for direction

  • Care deeply about details and notice when things are off

  • Thrive in fast-moving environments where no two days look exactly the same

  • Want to build a career in workplace, operations, or employee experience

What we offer:

We’re building a place where great people can do their best work—and that means looking after you and your family with benefits that support health and personal growth.

  • Market leading private medical insurance

  • Generous parental leave

  • First Friday of the month off

  • Generous annual leave/PTO allowance

  • Competitive salary and equity

  • Remote working and personal development budget

  • Enhanced pension/401k

Compensation Range: £35K - £45K
