About incident.io

incident.io is the leading AI incident response platform, built to help teams dramatically reduce incident response time and improve reliability. We bring together on-call, incident response, AI SRE, and status pages in a single platform, giving teams everything they need to respond quickly, reduce downtime, and keep customers in the loop.

Since launching in 2021, we’ve helped over 1,500 companies, including Netflix, Airbnb, and Block, run more than 500,000 incidents. Every month, tens of thousands of responders across Engineering, Product, and Support use incident.io to restore services faster, stay aligned under pressure, and focus on building what matters.

We’re a fast-growing, highly ambitious team that cares deeply about our customers, product quality, and making it magic. We’ve raised $100M from Index Ventures, Insight Partners, and Point Nine, alongside founders and executives from world-class technology companies.

The Team

TechOps at incident.io exists to make everyone else’s job easier. They're the team that ensures people hit the ground running with the right access from day one, use laptops and tools that just work, and attend an office where they can focus on what matters.

You’ll be our first US-based TechOps hire, joining a small but high-impact team. Together, with the team in the UK, you’ll shape how TechOps operates as we scale, building the foundations, systems, and automation that support a fast-growing company across two continents.

TechOps works closely with teams across Engineering, Security, and Operations to enable and accelerate employees. Our stack includes Google Workspace, Iru (formerly Kandji), and a growing set of SaaS tools, and we’re always looking for smarter ways to automate, integrate, and improve how we operate. If you enjoy building order out of chaos and leaving things better than you found them, you’ll feel right at home.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Be the go-to person when someone needs TechOps support.

  • Own identity and access management across our stack; SSO/SCIM provisioning & employee lifecycle including onboarding and offboarding.

  • Manage our macOS fleet end-to-end: procurement, provisioning, deployment, and device refreshes keeping our team productive with devices that just work.

  • Own the San Francisco office infrastructure making it a place where things run smoothly across networking, AV, and physical security.

  • Build automations that level up how we operate, not just eliminating repetitive work, but making us faster and more effective.

What you need to be successful:

  • Experience building or scaling TechOps at a growth-stage company where you've created systems and processes from scratch.

  • Strong technical foundation across identity and access management (Google Workspace, SSO, SCIM), MDM (Kandji), and SaaS administration.

  • Background in hands-on technical support, you know what good service looks like and you care about the details.

  • Hands-on experience with office infrastructure across networking, AV, meeting room setups, and physical access control.

  • Partnering with teams across the business to understand what's slowing them down and build automation, tooling, or processes that make them faster.

What we offer:

We’re building a place where great people can do their best work—and that means looking after you and your family with benefits that support health and personal growth.

  • Generous parental leave

  • First Friday of the month off
