You’ll be driving impact from the earliest days of a company and executing to help us achieve enormous growth goals. This is a highly visible role, directly supporting incident.io’s VP of Marketing.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Owning the events strategy for in-person, virtual events and webinars; bring forward innovative events while managing a comprehensive events calendar, and leading all aspects of both pre-event planning and execution process and post-event engagement
  • Collaborating with the marketing team to create engaging, informative, and memorable brand interactions that attract new customers and partners and deepen existing relationships
  • Project managing event SLA and timelines, including promotions schedule, landing pages, emails, graphic materials, and post-event follow-up activities
  • Defining and delivering on event goals and report on critical event metrics, optimizing event (and pre-event and post-event) execution for best outcomes (generating qualified leads, pipeline, and closed-won revenue)
  • Managing event staffing and day-of engagement strategy - recruit and train booth staff, individuals for speaking engagements, moderators, technical support staff, etc.

This role could be ideal for you if you:

  • Have experience in working in a B2B SaaS environment, experience marketing to a developer-centric audience or a startup environment is a plus
  • Have experience managing event logistics, including budgeting, venue selection, scheduling, and coordinating with vendors, speakers, and participants
  • Love creating memorable brand experiences to make events stand out and attract attention, including unique themes, interactive experiences, and engaging activities
  • Can anticipate and address challenges or issues that may arise during event planning and execution, and find creative solutions to ensure a successful event
