Role Impact
We're seeking an ambitious Sales Development Representative who wants to kickstart their sales career while making an environmental impact. You'll work closely with our Sales team to build a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities, learning the fundamentals of B2B sales in a mission-driven environment.
Core Responsibilities
Pipeline Generation:
Research and identify potential customers within our target market
Execute outbound campaigns via LinkedIn, email, and cold calling
Qualify inbound leads from marketing and website inquiries
Book qualified discovery meetings for our Account Executive team
Prospecting Excellence:
Build targeted prospect lists using our defined Ideal Customer Profile
Craft compelling outreach messages that resonate with environmental stakeholders
Handle initial objections and educate prospects on biodiversity monitoring benefits
Track and optimize outreach metrics and conversion rates
Process Development:
Work with our Sales Pioneer to test and refine prospecting approaches
Provide feedback on messaging effectiveness and market response
Document successful prospecting strategies for future team scaling
Collaborate on improving lead qualification criteria
Requirements
Experience:
0-2 years in sales (recent graduates welcome)
any customer-facing, business development experience valued
internship experience in sales/marketing is a plus
