Embedded Hardware Engineer

Role Impact
Design and prototype environmental sensing hardware
Implement firmware features for sensor integration
Support PCB development and testing
Work directly with senior engineers on core architecture
Key Responsibilities
Hardware Development
Design hardware prototypes and test setups
Support PCB development and debugging
Integrate new sensors and components
Optimize power consumption
Firmware Support
Implement basic firmware features in C/C++
Write drivers for environmental sensors
Test and validate hardware functionality
Debug hardware-software interactions
Engineering Tasks
Create technical documentation
Support production testing
Maintain bill of materials
Assist with vendor selection
Requirements
2-4 years embedded hardware experience
Basic firmware programming skills (C/C++)
Experience with PCB design tools
Knowledge of sensor interfaces (I2C, SPI, UART)
Understanding of power management
