Factorial is on the lookout for a AI-Driven Revenue Builder who thinks like a strategist and executes like a machine. Reporting directly to the Head of New Products, you will be responsible for leading our most volume-heavy segment.

This isn't a traditional management role. Managing thousands of small accounts is a complex puzzle that requires a mix of high-level strategic thinking, operational rigor, and a deep obsession with data. You will be the architect of a scalable engine that turns a high-volume portfolio into a predictable revenue stream.

About the Role

We’re not looking for a traditional salesperson. We’re looking for someone who thinks like a founder someone who has already built their own revenue engine using AI.
This role sits at the intersection of Revenue, AI Automation, Customer Expansion, and Operational Scale. Your mission is not to generate outbound pipeline from prospects, but to unlock revenue from Factorial’s existing customer base by automating how small accounts are managed and expanded.

The goal is simple:

Increase customer revenue without increasing human intervention.
You will design and operate scalable AI-powered systems that identify expansion opportunities, trigger automated engagement, optimize account journeys, and drive upsell/cross-sell revenue across thousands of SMB accounts.
If you’ve ever built GPT-powered workflows, automated customer journeys, AI-driven account scoring systems, or internal tooling that generates revenue at scale this is your role.

What You’ll Do

Build AI-powered revenue systems for the installed customer base

  • Design scalable workflows for account scoring, segmentation, expansion detection, and customer prioritization

  • Automate customer engagement and upsell motions using GPT-based tools, APIs, and no-code platforms

  • Create AI-assisted systems that identify revenue opportunities without relying on manual account management

  • Continuously optimize messaging, triggers, and workflows through experimentation and performance analysis

Own expansion revenue performance

  • Manage and optimize expansion revenue metrics end-to-end

  • Improve conversion rates, ARPU, retention, and expansion efficiency across SMB accounts

  • Build systems that increase monetization while minimizing operational overhead

  • Step in manually when necessary, but always with the goal of removing future manual dependency

Operate like a mini-founder

  • Treat your automation workflows like products: test, measure, iterate, improve

  • Build your own tooling stack (Python, Zapier, Make, APIs, GPT workflows, CRM automations, etc.)

  • Identify operational bottlenecks and solve them through automation rather than headcount

  • Move fast, experiment constantly, and scale what works

Drive operational and commercial excellence

  • Run structured reviews on expansion performance and automation efficiency

  • Analyze customer and revenue data to generate actionable insights

  • Build scalable processes capable of handling thousands of accounts efficiently

  • Perform under pressure and bring clarity when targets are at risk



What We’re Looking For

AI-native operator
Hands-on experience building or using AI tools for revenue generation and automation, including:

  • AI-assisted customer engagement

  • CRM automation with GPT-based workflows

  • Automated lead/account scoring systems

  • Custom workflows using Python, Zapier, Make, APIs, or similar tools

  • AI-driven lifecycle or expansion campaigns



Bonus points if you’ve built your own side project, agency, SaaS, or revenue stream using AI.
Strong commercial mindset

Deep understanding of:

  • Revenue expansion

  • ARPU optimization

  • Funnel conversion

  • Customer monetization

  • Forecast management

  • Scalable account growth strategies

You understand that revenue is not only generated through acquisition — but also through intelligent expansion of existing customers.
Structured and analytical thinker

  • Comfortable working with data, dashboards, experimentation, and performance analysis

  • Able to explain business performance clearly in QBR-style reviews

  • Uses data to make decisions, not opinions



Resilient operator

  • Thrives in fast-paced and high-pressure environments

  • Brings structure and execution focus when things are off-track

  • Comfortable balancing strategy with hands-on execution



Relevant domain experience (nice to have)
Experience in:

  • HR Tech

  • Workforce Management

  • HCM platforms

  • SaaS environments with high-volume SMB customer bases
