The Role 💻

As a Design Lead, you’ll lead several product teams in collaboration with a Product Director and an Engineering Director. You’ll be responsible for building and developing a talented group of Product Designers to define and build Factorial's vision.

You’ll work closely with existing customers and other teams inside Factorial, like Sales and Customer Experience, to identify problems, set business goals, and define our product vision. As part of this process, you’ll work and guide your team towards the different phases of building Factorial’s product.

Also, you’ll collaborate with other Product Leaders to align Factorial’s vision and business goals.

You are a good fit if...

  • You have +5 years of experience building digital products and at least +2 years leading Product Designers.
  • You have deep experience working as a Product Designer in the different phases of the design process, including user research, ideation, interface design, prototyping, implementation, and validation.
  • You have experience working with quantitative and qualitative data to generate insights, detect opportunities and risks, and articulate your decisions from a business perspective.
  • You are passionate about building innovative and user-centered products working with complex problems and not bounded solutions.
  • You have experience aligning multiple teams by defining common business goals, setting up proper processes, and structuring the team to ensure success.
  • You have experience building a talented team by not only recruiting top talent through inbound and outbound strategies but also creating last-standing relationships.
  • You have experience developing a talented team, setting clear expectations, providing continuous feedback, defining action plans, planning training programs, and taking critical decisions when necessary.
  • You have experience defining the long-term vision of products, thinking holistically, and properly translating that vision to your teams to build scalable systems.
  • You have experience building consistent experiences by aligning multiple teams and stakeholders toward common documentation, design systems, branding, and best design practices.
  • You have experience working in cross-functional teams (including Engineering, Product Managerment, Sales, and Customer Experience) to ensure the solutions we build are feasible and aligned with business goals.
  • You are constantly up-to-date with the latest design trends and technologies to improve your team's design process and output.
  • You have strong communication skills and feel comfortable working with multiple stakeholders. Also, you can speak and write in English fluently.

  • You have experience working in a B2B SaaS company.
  • You have experience building a team from scratch but also developing existing teams.
  • You have experience working with BI tools to gather different information on your own.

Process & Next Steps ✅

  1. People Interview (30min): The first thing is to know each other and align expectations, so make sure to ask any questions you have about Factorial.
  2. Hiring Manager Interview (1h): Once we know more about you, it's time to meet your future manager and go deeper into your professional experience and thinking. Feel free to ask more detailed questions about team processes, organization, design, etc.
  3. Challenge (8h max.): We need to validate your knowledge and estimate your level before joining Factorial. The challenge is fictional but simulates a problem you could find working at Factorial.
  4. Presentation (1h): Once you finish the challenge, we'll schedule a second interview with the rest of the team to meet each other and evaluate your challenge through different questions.
  5. Meeting our CEO (1h): We want you to meet the people who started Factorial, so feel free to ask any questions!
  6. Offer Letter: If everything plays out, we'll make you a formal offer based on all the steps above.

Compensation 💰

The salary range for this position starts at 93.000€. We won't take into consideration how may years of experience you have, but your knowledge and skills.
