We are seeking a Senior Product and Commercial Counsel to support Dott’s growth across Western and Central Europe. This is a hands-on role for a lawyer who thrives in a fast-moving environment, enjoys variety, and can balance legal risk with commercial pragmatism.

You will act as a trusted advisor to business teams on a wide range of topics from product launches and user terms to employment law, tenders, and litigation. You will also be the global legal owner for product compliance, ensuring that new features, user offers, and platform innovations are launched in line with applicable laws and Dott’s internal standards.

Product & Compliance

• Act as the global legal owner for product-related matters, advising the Product, Tech, and Marketing teams on new feature launches, user terms, pricing, and promotions.

• Ensure compliance with consumer protection, e-commerce, and marketing laws across multiple jurisdictions.

• Review and update user terms, offers, and product-related policies in collaboration with Public Policy, Operations, and Communications teams.

• Partner with the Product and Engineering teams and our DPO to embed privacy, safety, and regulatory compliance into product design (“privacy by design” and “compliance by design”).

Commercial & Corporate

• Act as dedicated counsel for a number of countries including, but not limited to Italy, Greece, Israel, UAE and KSA including:

  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide variety of commercial contracts (including service, procurement, and partnership agreements).

  • Supporting local and regional teams on tenders, RFPs, and public procurement processes.

  • Assisting in managing disputes and pre-litigation matters in coordination with external counsel.

Employment & Country Support

• Provide pragmatic day-to-day legal support to People and Operations teams on employment and contractor matters.

• Advise on local employment law issues, including terminations, policy updates, and compliance with labor regulations.

• Coordinate with local external counsel where necessary to ensure consistent and compliant practices across jurisdictions.

Cross-functional Collaboration

• Work closely with the Head of Public Law and Commercial (West), Compliance, Privacy and other Legal team members to ensure alignment and knowledge sharing.

• Support internal training and awareness initiatives on legal risk, compliance, and contract best practices.

• Qualified lawyer in an EU or UK jurisdiction, with 5–8 years of post-qualification experience, ideally a mix of private practice and in-house experience at a fast-paced tech or mobility company.

• Strong background in commercial contracts, product compliance, and employment law; experience with consumer protection and platform regulation is a plus.

• Excellent stakeholder management skills and ability to communicate complex legal issues clearly and effectively.

• Comfortable working autonomously while collaborating across multiple teams and time zones.

• Fluent in English and at least one other European language (such as French, Spanish, Italian, German, Polish, or Dutch).

• Based in France, Spain, Italy, Belgium, Netherlands or Poland.

• Pragmatic, adaptable, and eager to help build scalable legal frameworks in a growing business.
