Job Description
How you'll contribute
We’re seeking a Senior Accountant to join us! This is a dynamic and fast-paced role within our Accounting Hub at ZnanyLekarz (part of the Docplanner Group). Our team operates in an evolving environment, requiring adaptability, problem-solving skills, and a proactive mindset. While not a leadership role, it involves overseeing daily activities and collaborating closely with junior team members. Given the interactive nature of the role and the variety of tasks, we’re looking for someone communicative, hands-on, and eager to thrive in a constantly evolving setting.
Key Responsibilities:
To be accountable to the Polish subsidiary Trial Balance: Post JEs (accruals, prepaid expenses, fixed assets maintenance, bank statement transactions, payroll entries) and perform reconciliations to ensure the balance accuracy. Support accountants on the operational tasks (processing vendors and customers records). Interacting with other departments on the execution of closing (ME) tasks.
Review and approve the accounting records to comply with IFRS.
Be a point of contact for the local Finance team.
Analysis of Balance Sheet variances. Support Local team on Monthly reporting.
Process monthly accounting adjustment to ensure the accuracy of the accounting information.
Perform and ensure all accounting tasks are completed according to group policies and local tax regulation.
Review and approve reconciliations, also elaborate those recs that require deeper accounting knowledge and skills.
Lead the implementation of financial and accounting projects: from the implementation of group policies and procedures, to the integration of new subsidiaries into the newly established Accounting Hub in Warsaw.
Qualifications
What We’re Looking For
You have a strong academic background. A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or Economics is a must. An additional Master's degree or accounting certification is preferred.
You have 5+ years of relevant experience working in Finance or Auditing departments in a multinational environment.
You are native in Polish
You speak B2+ English - as all of our communications are in English.
You have been working with finance ERP (ideally Netsuite but not mandatory).
Advanced Excel skills are a must.
You exhibit a strong desire to deliver first class results; you have an analytical and process driven mindset.
Strong adaptability and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment
Ability to oversee daily accounting activities and coordinate with junior team members
Proactive and hands-on approach to process improvements and ad hoc tasks
Excellent communication skills and openness to collaboration
Comfortable managing multiple priorities and engaging with different stakeholders
Experience in task coordination and working cross-functionally within finance teams
You want to learn, develop yourself, actively propose improvements, and you're meticulous. Like Sherlock Holmes, you are sensitive to even the smallest detail!

Poland (preferably Warsaw) in a hybrid working model
