Challenge ahead
As a Node.js Developer at CloudTalk, you will join an Engineering team of 50+ people and work in teams consisting of Backend and Frontend developers, QA engineers, Product Manager and Engineering Manager. We operate in a Scrum environment where you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain scalable web applications using Node.js.

What you will work on:
- You’ll join our Integrations team, focusing on building and maintaining 3rd party integrations (e.g., Monday.com, HubSpot) and driving the next generation of our integration architecture. You’ll play a key role in designing and developing scalable, efficient integration systems and ensuring seamless communication between CloudTalk and external platforms.
- Here’s what your day-to-day might look like:
- Develop and maintain integrations with third-party platforms such as Monday.com, HubSpot, Salesforce and others
- Write high-quality, testable code, participating actively in the team’s strong testing culture (unit, integration, and end-to-end)
- Designing and implementing new features, including writing technical designs and consulting with teammates
- Participating in product and architecture discussions
- Keeping up with new technologies and incorporating them into your workflow
- Collaborating with a diverse and international team

What we need:
- Experience with building or maintaining API-based integrations (REST, Webhooks, OAuth2)
- Strong understanding of software architecture principles and system design
- Familiar with microservices and event-driven architectures.
- Experience with testing frameworks and a strong belief in code quality and automation
- Proactive, team-oriented, and comfortable working in a BE-oriented environment with a strong emphasis on testing and reliability
- Good communication skills
