Clio is the global leader in legal AI technology, empowering legal professionals and law firms of every size to work smarter, faster, and more securely.

We are transforming the legal experience for all by bettering the lives of legal professionals while increasing access to justice.

Summary:

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager with deep legal tech experience to lead Clio Docket from MVP through product-market fit and into scaled SMB adoption.

You will define how docket data, workflow automation, and AI come together in a unified litigation experience, working at the intersection of legal workflows, data infrastructure, and AI agents. A strong candidate already understands legal work in practice: how litigators think, how cases progress, and where time gets lost.

What your team does:

Clio Docket is a litigation intelligence product built natively inside Clio Work. It brings together a dataset of over 1 billion U.S. state and federal court filings with deep workflow integration, enabling small and mid-sized law firms to litigate with the sophistication of much larger firms.

Where most docketing tools stop at coverage and search, Clio Docket is built around how lawyers actually work inside their matters. Filings, deadlines, and documents sync continuously into Clio. Vincent AI analyzes dockets, surfaces insights, and proactively drafts responses. Everything lives inside the matter lifecycle, where litigation work actually happens.

What you’ll work on:

  • Define and evolve Clio Docket’s vision as a core pillar of the Clio and Vincent ecosystem, positioning it as a workflow product rather than a data product

  • Identify the highest-value use cases for SMB litigators, starting with key states like CA, NY, TX, and FL

  • Determine where and how to expand docket data coverage into new U.S. jurisdictions, and what signals indicate product-market fit in each

  • Own the roadmap across docket and document sync, auto-calendaring, deadline derivation, filing-triggered workflows and automation, and Vincent AI integrations

  • Drive prioritization based on customer value, coverage constraints, and adoption and revenue impact

  • Design product-led growth loops with built-in virality, including shared documents and matter-based expansion

What success looks like:

  • In the first few months, you will launch and iterate on the California pilot, identify the must-win workflows that drive adoption, and achieve strong activation within Clio Work, specifically matters connected to dockets. You will ship high-impact features including auto-calendar adoption, filing-triggered drafting, and Vincent-powered insights. A core part of the role is also identifying where Clio Docket can expand into new U.S. jurisdictions, testing what drives product-market fit as we bring docket data coverage to new states.

What you may have:

  • 5 to 10 or more years in Product Management, including at least 3 years in legal tech and a track record of shipping products used by lawyers

  • Deep understanding of litigation workflows: dockets, filings, deadlines, motions, case strategy

  • Proven experience building B2B SaaS products

  • Strong product instincts, with the ability to distinguish between an interesting feature and a workflow-changing product

  • Comfortable working with data-heavy products involving search, structured data, and unstructured data

  • Excellent at customer discovery, prioritization under constraints, and cross-functional leadership

Serious bonus points if you have:

  • Experience with docketing products such as Docket Alarm, Trellis, or UniCourt

  • Experience with practice management systems such as Clio or MyCase

  • Experience with legal AI tools such as Harvey or Legora

  • A background in law (JD or equivalent) or extensive hands-on experience working with lawyers

  • Experience with product-led growth in SMB SaaS

  • Experience building integration-heavy or platform products

This is a new role.
