Clio is the global leader in legal AI technology, empowering legal professionals and law firms of every size to work smarter, faster, and more securely.

We are transforming the legal experience for all by bettering the lives of legal professionals while increasing access to justice.

Summary:

Who you are:

As the Senior Web Strategist (IC3), you'll own the strategy and execution of Clio's global web presence across multiple regions — driving a consistent brand story while enabling the local relevance that converts. You'll work at the intersection of performance marketing, CRO, and user experience to make clio.com one of the most effective demand generation engines in legal tech.

You bring a bias toward action and a track record of leading complex, cross-functional web initiatives from brief to measurable outcome. You know how to earn trust with stakeholders, synthesize ambiguous data into clear strategy, and champion both big bets and incremental tests. You're energized by problems that require both creative thinking and analytical rigor, and you thrive in a collaborative, fast-moving SaaS environment.

What you’ll work on:

Website Strategy (Multi-Region)

  • Lead the strategy and execution of GTM campaigns across multi-region marketing web properties (US, Canada, UK, Australia) to serve as high-performing demand generation engines.

  • Own regional web strategy — balancing a unified global narrative with locally relevant messaging, offers, and audience segmentation.

  • Drive end-to-end planning and execution for high-impact initiatives including microsites, website sections, and campaign landing pages, collaborating cross-functionally with Design, Dev, Growth, Content, CRO, and PMM teams.

  • Serve as a strategic partner to regional Demand Generation Managers, ensuring web properties are built to convert.

  • Monitor market trends and competitive benchmarks to keep strategy innovative and effective.

Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO)

  • Partner closely with the CRO Manager to develop and prioritize test hypotheses, execute iterative experiments, and synthesize findings into actionable web strategy improvements.

  • Lead website audits across regional properties, identifying UX, UI, and messaging opportunities with supporting data and clear business rationale.

  • Help build a strong test-and-learn culture on the web team.

SEO Strategy & Execution

  • Partner with the SEO agency and in-house SEO/Content team to execute technical SEO across all regions.

  • Ensure SEO best practices are embedded into every web project from inception through launch.

Analytics & Marketing Technology

  • Define and own regional web KPIs, delivering actionable reporting to leadership and stakeholders.

  • Leverage analytics tools (Google Analytics, Amplitude, Looker) to track trends, surface anomalies, and drive proactive optimization.

What you bring:

  • 6+ years of experience in web strategy, growth marketing, or demand generation, ideally in SaaS or B2B environments.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead multi-region or global web programs end-to-end, from brief to measurable outcome.

  • Strong analytical skills with hands-on experience in Amplitude, Google Analytics, or equivalent tools.

  • Experience with CRO methodologies, A/B testing platforms, and experimentation best practices.

  • Solid understanding of SEO fundamentals and how they interact with web strategy.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.

  • Comfort making decisions with imperfect information in a fast-moving environment.

  • Knowledge of web tracking, attribution, and compliance considerations (cookie consent, GDPR).

Bonus points if you have:

  • Experience in B2B SaaS, especially SMB-focused products or platforms.

  • Legal industry knowledge or experience.

  • Familiarity with Amplitude Analytics, DreamData, and Looker.

  • Experience with heat-mapping tools (Mouseflow, Hotjar, Crazy Egg) and testing platforms (Optimizely, VWO).

  • Background working in a sales-led SaaS organization with a self-serve motion.

This is a new role.
